Biography

Maria Liverett is a dedicated resident, business owner, and community advocate in Rio Linda. Since 2011, she has owned and operated REO Mechanical, a small business with just under 50 employees, focused on providing high-quality services to the community. Maria is passionate about community-driven development and improving local infrastructure, a commitment that has inspired her to seek a role as a director on the Rio Linda/Elverta Community Water District.

Beyond her business, Maria runs a therapy hobby ranch that includes a boutique horse breeding program. Some of her horses are excelling on the national stage as reiners, showcasing her dedication and love for equestrian pursuits. She also founded a 501(c)(3) scholarship school to support equine enthusiasts, demonstrating her deep commitment to creating opportunities for others in her community.

Maria is devoted to improving the lives of Rio Linda residents by promoting fiscal responsibility and sustainable growth within the water district. She aims to cut unnecessary expenses, save for future improvements, and work toward a more successful and thriving community. Maria envisions Rio Linda as a unique country destination, a charming stopping spot for visitors, with a vibrant local culture and community-driven attractions. She is committed to helping the town realize its potential as the next great destination for those seeking an authentic country experience.
